err... bite me. yes, that's a good one.

Here is the exciting news of the week... I caught my mouse yesterday! She has been running about for the last 2.5 weeks. I spent 5 hours, yes 5 HOURS last Friday trying to catch her. Obviously I did not. Until yesterday, that is, when Bruce woke me up and said, "Trisha! I found your mouse! Come here!" Yes, it was in his room. Lilly(mouse) had climbed up on his dresser and was in the cage with all of Bruce's gerbils. She was just running on the wheel like it was nothing special. She is now in a glass aquarium with a lid and books on top of it to hold her in. She is on death row. I see no hope for her. I am taking her to my neighbors house at me earliest convenience and feeding her to their pet constrictor. I imagine it will look something like this picture. I will not watch, though. I know I am mean... but I just can't take care of her. She is just too smart and spastic for me.

Oh, just let her roam free. No harm done, right? Just 12 tons of poo everywhere. But she deserves the right to poo wherever she wants with that kind of intellecuosity.
I too reserve the right to poo where I please. But usually I choose the toilets in my house.
And we are very grateful for the Debbie.
Watching snakes devouring little creatures always creeps me out. It's hard enough watching it happen at the zoo, let alone a pet I know. Stay strong Trisha.
thank you. I have considered letting her roam free outside. but i don't think she would last any longer than she would in that snake. i feel bad for her really, but i see no solution.
Sometimes the right thing to do is the hardest thing to do.
wow, that sounded deep.
poor little thing. what I don't like to think about is snakes eating hair and tails and innards. ewwww. But if it's gotta happen, it's gotta happen...
yes. the deed is done. i gave her away last night. she is gone. but on a brighter note... the incessant noise from her trying to escape is gone. alas, i must move on. perhaps i will tell a good story in my next post.
I say yes. Do tell, i would like to hear it.
